At Twisted Nail Ranch we have combined the color and endurance of the Appaloosa horse with the confirmation and athleticism of the American Quarter horse.
Horse Breeding
Our operation has moved to Helena Montana. Our stud "Big Boy" is a well mannered 91% AQHA foundation stallion open for hand breeding. He has competed in Reining Cow and Ranch Riding. We use him on daily ranch operation such as branding and moving cows. We have also used him in the mountains during hunting season. He is a well rounded mount with a solid brain that he passes on to his foals.
